Nonna Books is a research, design and publishing project that commemorate and preserve family histories.
Logo is inspired by old floor tile which were common in most houses in turn of the century Tel aviv and together with a play on an old type face creating a romantic, nostalgic feel.
When budget permits books are hand bound and embossed. Layouts include family genealogy, migration maps, reconstructed photos, old letters, indigenous patterns and memorabilia. The end product is a beautifully bound book for generations to come.
This is a self initiated project with writer and editor Yael Cooper-Dovev
